Eligibility criteria
- Young entrepreneurs (Age 16 - 35)
- Residing in North lebanon
- Startups based in Tripoli and North Lebanon with less than one year of operations
Program Phases
Application
Applications for Startup Seeds are often open every 4 to 6 months. You may apply if your startup is in any of the following stages: Idea stage, Prototyping stage , Piloting stage, partially or fully operational.
Selection
Potential candidates are selected after an initial screening of all applications and later contacted for an interview. Interviews allow us to further understand the dynamics of the applicants. Sometimes, an additional assignment may be required from the applicant after being discussed in the interview.

Bootcamp
Our Bootcamps typically consist of training sessions, working sessions, and team building activities.
During the 5-day period, participants get the chance to develop their business plans, learn from industry experts, and practice pitching their startups to investors.
In the final stage, the business plans are submitted and assessed to decide who moves onto the next phase.
Incubation
At this stage, startups are offered workshops, mentorship, and coaching sessions tailored to their needs. Each startup is then matched with a set of mentors who will provide them with technical and business support.
This phase is designed to help the startups achieve startup maturity through the completion of the following milestones: Customer Discovery, Basic Prototyping, and Business Model Validation.
Business Support
Once the startups reach maturity and finish pitching their startups to a panel of judges and investors, The winners of the pitching festival receive a financial grant to help them launch their businesses. Follow-up business support will continue 1-2 months after receiving the grant to help the startups launch their products and develop their go-to market strategy.

If there is a missing component, an additional assignment may be required from the applicant after discussing it in the interview.
Bootcamp
Our previous Bootcamps typically consist of training sessions, working sessions, and team building activities. The topics covered are related to business components for startups, the startup ecosystem in Lebanon, and branding and online presence. The Bootcamp takes up 5 full working days and is located in a peaceful and secluded area away from the city.
During these 5 days, participants get the chance to work on their business plans, take part in workshops given by experts in different fields and industries, and learn to pitch their startups to investors.
For the finale, business plans are submitted by each team and later assessed for the shortlisting process in order to move onto the next phase.
(A virtual Bootcamp is an option in cases of complete lockdown)

This stage is initiated by covering support areas needed through the administering of workshops which pave the way to mentorship and coaching. Each startup is then matched with specific mentors & coaches who are specialists in their field. The areas of support range from business support to technical support and is offered based on the startup’s needs. This phase is designed to boost performance and build a product that attracts investors. The approach includes completing main milestones that help in achieving startup maturity: Customer Discovery, Basic Prototyping, Business Model Validation.
